Our Story
UTRS was founded in 1985 as a commercial information technology professional placement business. In 1995, we expanded our services to include consulting and engineering in diverse technical areas while our customer base grew to include government clients such as the Department of Defense (DOD), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC).
As our footprint within the federal marketplace increased, we expanded our service offerings to include many other technical disciplines and won SBA Prime Contractor of the Year for Region II in 2009 and 2013.
Our Growth
UTRS has grown organically from a small business and a handful of employees to a premier mid-sized firm. Our growth is the result of a commitment to satisfy our customers’ needs quickly, effectively and with the highest degree of excellence.
We continue to grow by leveraging our vast capabilities and strong past performance and expanding into new mission spaces and markets.
