Last week, dozens of students at Villanova University got to meet UTRS’s Human Resources department and learn how they can turn their education into meaningful work on real-world challenges. Hosted at an on-campus information table in Drosdick Hall, the event gave students a firsthand look at how their academic studies can translate into real-world impact across government, municipal, and private-sector projects.
Our representatives enjoyed speaking with Wildcats about early-career opportunities and the company’s multidisciplinary work in engineering, technology, and environmental services. UTRS offers incredibly diverse technical support – from protecting critical infrastructure and developing advanced defense technologies to building secure IT systems and supporting sustainable environmental solutions. Students also learned what sets UTRS apart: a people-first culture rooted in mentorship, long-term growth, and a strong sense of partnership. We’re proud to have earned a Forbes recognition as one of America’s 300 Best Small Employers, and we believe that distinction starts with investing in early-career talent. With a reputation for fostering careers from intern to leader, UTRS showcased its commitment to helping young professionals thrive in a supportive, family-like environment.
