UTRS has a long history of charitable donations and support of organizations that align with our mission and values. Our charitable efforts date back several decades and include support of military and veteran causes, local community support, worldwide disaster relief and aid, underserved populations, STEM efforts, educational and workforce development, and more.
To formalize our commitment to charitable giving and fully embed this into our operating philosophy, in 2024 we established the UTRS Charitable Fund, an IRS-governed Donor Advised Fund in partnership with the Community Foundation of South Jersey.
Through this fund, we will look to increase awareness, contributions, and support of the charitable organizations we partner with to help them provide a greater positive impact.

Recent Giving Campaign
This year, on Social Media Giving Day, we ran a campaign aimed at encouraging others to leverage social media to make a positive impact on the world by promoting charitable giving. We asked employees to spread the word on social, along with asking for donations. We matched donations taken for this campaign and donated in a lump sum to Project Refit.
