UTRS has a long history of charitable donations and support of organizations that align with our mission and values. Our charitable efforts date back several decades and include support of military and veteran causes, local community support, worldwide disaster relief and aid, underserved populations, STEM efforts, educational and workforce development, and more.
To formalize our commitment to charitable giving and fully embed this into our operating philosophy, in 2024 we established the UTRS Charitable Fund, an IRS-governed Donor Advised Fund in partnership with the Community Foundation of South Jersey.
Through this fund, we will look to increase awareness, contributions, and support of the charitable organizations we partner with to help them provide a greater positive impact.

Recent Giving Campaign
This year on #GivingTuesday, we proudly partnered with Building Homes for Heroes by sponsoring a fundraising event. Building Homes for Heroes is a national nonprofit dedicated to constructing and gifting mortgage-free homes and completing vital home modifications for injured veterans, emergency first responders, and their families. We matched employee donations collected during this campaign and sent a lump sum to the charity.
