UTRS Advanced Manufacturing recently reinforced its support for industry by joining the National Tooling & Machining Association (NTMA). We look forward to being part of NTMA’s mission to leverage the collective experiences of members, advocate for industry, and close the skills gap. UTRS Wins Task Order Under RS3 Contract

Earlier this year, UTRS was awarded a $7.4M task order on the Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) contract to support the creation and maintenance of multiple weapons systems, Test Program Sets (TPSs), and software installers for the Weapons and Software Engineering Center (WSEC) at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. This one-year award allows numerous UTRS personnel to continue providing consistent engineering support to the U.S. Army for Automated Test Equipment (ATE), TPSs, and the Diagnostic and System Health (DASH) software for artillery and tank weapon systems. In 2023, UTRS was selected as part of Forbes new annual list of America’s Best Small Employers. Forbes teamed with an independent research firm and used various metrics to assess 10,000 of America’s best companies with 200 to 1,000 employees, across all states and industries. The Next Frontier Advanced Manufacturing Institute (NFAMI) – which provides tuition-free rapid workforce training for Veterans and Armed Forces personnel transitioning out of service as well as their spouses and adult children up to age 25 – has moved beyond the pilot year of its Operation Next Montana program to become an ongoing endeavor. UTRS Awarded $82 Million Contract for Advanced Prototyping, Testing, and Diagnostics Support

(UTRS) has been awarded an $82 million task order contract by the General Services Administration (GSA) to provide Advanced Prototyping, Testing, and Diagnostics Support Research and Development Services. Fuzion Safety offers a collection of services such as the new Flight Dynamics flight data analysis system and the WBAT platform, which is the sole Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-supported safety management system (SMS) program available on the market. As part of the Aviation Safety Technology Division at UTRS, Fuzion Safety can also be utilized by rail transit agencies to meet the Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP) regulation issued by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
