National Surveyors Week, observed annually during the third week of March, aims to raise public awareness of the surveying profession, highlight its essential role in land planning, engineering, and development, and encourage interest in the career. It honors the historical and modern contributions of surveyors to society.
When we say UTRS Civil and Environmental Engineering (UTRS CEE) has “long stakes in the local community,” we mean it. Our legacy firms have been providing surveying services to our regional community for over a century, with records of local land transactions going even further. In fact, in the lobby of our East Stroudsburg office you’ll find a cabinet chock-full of historical surveys of properties and land transactions throughout the region going back to before the Civil War.
From then to the current day, we know Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey surveying just like what it is – our own backyard!
In the past year alone, UTRS CEE’s survey teams have performed:
- Agricultural Surveys
