UTRS Supports the Salt Shaker Foundation's 6th Annual Fundraiser

Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is proud to support the Salt Shaker Foundation in its mission to raise money and awareness for the fight against cancer. The company sponsored the 6th Annual Salt Shaker Foundation fundraiser on Saturday, April 30, at P.J. Whelihan’s in Cherry Hill, NJ. “The Salt Shaker Foundation and UTRS share the same beliefs and values about helping others in the fight against cancer. We are proud to support this amazing foundation and its endeavors to foster awareness and prevention, as well as its mission to find a cure for cancer,” said UTRS Chief Operating Officer Marc Snyderman .

The Salt Shaker Foundation was founded in 2006 by Bart Saidel, who was diagnosed with testicular cancer. His wife Lisa and their family and friends rallied around him during his extensive chemotherapy treatment and surgery. The group participated in a local bike race for Lance Armstrong’s LIVESTRONG foundation, which resulted in a party-turned-fundraiser to celebrate their accomplishment.  The Foundation’s annual fundraising event continues to evolve every year and has been highly successful— with over 500 attendees and increasing fundraising increasing fundraising totals.

The Salt Shaker Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the South Jersey and Philadelphia area that conducts events to raise awareness and funding for LIVESTRONG, the Cooper Cancer Institute of Cooper University Hospital, and other local prominent cancer organizations. Since its inception in 2006, the Salt Shaker Foundation has raised over $250,000 for cancer charities.
