Fox Chase Cancer Center and UTRS Encourage a Healthy Lifestyle to Battle Cancer

As a member of the Community Advisory Council (CAC) at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, UTRS CEO Jerry Wright is devoted to educating and raising awareness of certain cancers that are more prevalent among many minority groups.

Fox Chase Cancer Center provides education on prevention, detection and treatment for people at high risk of prostate, breast, ovarian, lung and colorectal cancers. The CAC's purpose is to make preventative medical care more pronounced in minority communities. Its goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle to prevent cancer by eating healthy, exercising, and visiting the doctor regularly. "Contributing to the life-saving prevention programs offered through Fox Chase Cancer Center has been extremely rewarding", said Jerry.
